Welcome to High School Football 2008
But who could be unhappy spending four hours in this gorgeous place, under these skies and getting exercise running the sidelines (you didn't think I'd just SIT there during the game, did you now?)
First sky photo is unretouched - just cropped. Second has used the Picassa 'I feel lucky' button - see the difference? Which do you prefer?

I prefer the second. I think the higher contrast adds more drama to the scene. Nice job either way, and yep, beautiful skies.
It's a clear blue sky day here in Islip. Not a cloud to be seen.
I love the second sky shot -- it looks ominous!
The second does look more stormy - but I like both. We have clear skies sometimes, but more often hazy with the humidity.
And, I'd die running the sidelines of anything in Colorado with the altitude.
As beautiful as Colorado and desert is, I discovered years ago I love low altitude and humidity :)
Iris, you are absolutely right about the altitude. For almost the first year I was out of breath climbing my stairs, LOL
Thanks for the comments on the photo - I think I prefer the high contrast too - just more interesting, somehow. Kat
